I worked in a Call Center before for almost 4 years. We cater people calling in to pay bills, make inquiries, make add-on purchases, request for reconnection and clients who wanted to have a technician visit their area. We were also required to do after-sales since we were a Billing and Sales Account. For almost 4 years, I was able to communicate with different people from the United States. I had the chance to learn how to handle different callers with different moods and attitude. The first few weeks was hard, but eventually, i was able to manage. I even received a certificate for a good skill in spoken english. After a year, I got promoted as a Supervisor and soon enough, I was given a team of 15 people to handle.
