• General supervision and inspect the installation, modification and commissioning of mechanical systems at construction.
• Monitor, verify, and document the work being performed through site.
• Provide technical assistance to the construction team as needed.
• Generate/Review material requisitions, submittals, and ensure contract performance measures are met.
• Ensure that all mechanical site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per shop drawings, method statements, specification and work plan.
• To coordinate with other engineering discipline.
• Evaluate the project construction to ensure compliance with standards for mechanical systems.
• Assist the Senior Mechanical Engineer in all his responsibilities as required.
• Serve as the Site Representative for all matters related to construction quality assurance of mechanical works.
• Receive/action Request for Information (RFI) that apply to mechanical works. RFI's requiring design feedback will be directed to the senior engineer for response. Review the responses for adequacy.
• Preparation of installation method statements in coordination with the QA/QC representatives and check the prepared documents.
• To handle the complete Mechanical installation, testing, commissioning (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, other specific mechanical activities).
