Profile Description

I am a good communicator in both spoken and written English. In group projects or reports, I always end up as the writer and presenter and I do them with proficiency.
The good grades I obtained in the programming courses I took in college are indicators that I possess the affinity and the aptitude for programming. The courses I took in Basic Programming, Data Structures and Numerical Methods trained me to become comfortable programming in C++ and MatLab (and in programming as a whole). At present, I am teaching myself PHP,MySQL, JavaScript and other related languages in my spare time. I am able to do basic PHP/MySQL programming, and am oriented with templating using Smarty. From there, I plan to extend my self-study to AJAX, JQuery and Drupal (and to anywhere else my curiosity may lead me).
I am confident that when afforded with good materials and training, I will be able to progress in my level as a writer and a programmer. Also, for the purpose of giving light on my ability to learn and to receive training, I find it noteworthy to mention that I graduated with honors and that I grabbed a place in the top ten performers in the Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination given in September of 2010.
