I believe that my strong technical experience and education will make me a very competitive candidate for these positions. I worked at 1and1 Internet, Inc, a web hosting company, for more than 3 years.
I started as a
and general tech representative for 4 months and was promoted to advanced tech rep or Tie2. I configured web servers (shared and dedicated), database and content management systems such as wordpress, joomla, dragonfly and magento, etc.
I'm know how to upload files or through with FTP, Frontpage, Dreamweaver and MS publisher. I know how to configure sharepoint servers but I'm not an expert at it. I have basic knowledge on PHP , ASP and HTML scripting. I have fixed web bugs and helped customers to minimize possible web hacks. I am very much familiar with configuring e-mail applications such as outlook, netscape, thunderbird, mac mail, entourage, etc.
After 1&1, I worked at Convergys as senior technical support associate for 10 months. I troubleshoot internet connections -
both cable and wifi. I know how to setup a router and home network. I always wanted to make sure that everything is setup correctly so I preferred to connect to customers' computers or routers and configured it myself. I also installed and configured our security software (Computer associate internet sec. software) on their computers for added protection. I received several recognitions for a job well done and I will work hard to prove that I am worth it.
I am currently an IT helpdesk supervisor at an IT company.
I was promoted a year after I started which only proves how reliable and efficient I am with what I do.
I have received great feedback from the management, from our clients and from my team.
