I have been working in the academe for six (6) years as instructor and vice dean of the college of computer studies. I handled subjects which belongs to the ITE Core subjects such as Programming/Software Development using C, Delphi, MYSQL and MSSQL, Software Engineering, Compiler Design, Database Management Systems and Design, Data Structures and Algorithms, Assembly Language Programming.
As the vice dean, I managed the day to day operations of the college from performance evaluation and management of faculty members, external linkages of the college up to classroom and laboratory instruction monitoring and management.
Within my employment in the academe, I have develop several information systems for the school such as enrollment system, students and employees database systems, ID Security systems to name a few.
After my stint in the academe, I've worked as IT Manager and Project Manager for almost two (2) years in an IT-BPO company. My duties and responsibilities includes directing and managing the 24/7 operations of the contact center department ensuring that all systems and network facilities are 99% up and running. On the other hand, I managed projects for local and international clients of the company.
Within the span of my employment in the IT-BPO company, I earned knowledge and training with the following opensource tools: Centos and Ubuntu linux, Vicidial Automatic Call Distribution System running on top of Asterisk, Livezilla Chat Support System, SugarCRM, Scalix Email Messaging and PFSense Perimeter Firewall.
I developed a small sized trouble ticket system for the company using Delphi 2010 and MySql. It was used for the contact center operations to the technical support department.
