My virtual assistance job requires website development, graphic designing, content writing, SEO Stuff, Email handling, Database management and most of my clients consider me as a partner. A partner when it comes to decision making about the progress / growth of the company, what's best and not. My part as a worker requires my analytical thinking in terms of marketing, products reviews and checking.
My level of communications skills will determine how effective I am in talking about business and work to my clients. I would rate myself as efficient and sounds like "american" accent and diction. I even went to Australia for a month and most Aussies are impressed how I dictate my words and sentences.
I've Written poems, articles / news, blogs, and songs. I've got a good chance to write blog to prestigious marketing companies in Mississippi for their fire prevention section. Real Estate articles, software and technology, life, and etc.
Since I am working as a freelancer for some quite time now, marketing my services to different platforms is very important. From email, social media, networking, video marketing, and etc. It just need to be consistent, and don't stop working on new contents everyday, it applies too in my current clients, from selling books, promoting seminars/webinars, promoting facebook pages, and specific services/products. In SEO, I have managed myself to be an expert, working with a vast number of sites that needed SEO, I learned from basics to professional ways, number 1 thing that needs to be reminded to each clients, raking to the top is not a one click, it takes time and consistency.
As a freelancer, you have to be very good in selling yourself to people. I have managed to sell myself through sending emails, portfolios, web pages, landing pages, chatting and calling people who might be interested to hire me or at least remember me and possibly recommend me to their friends. I am implementing the charisma and honesty to make the prospects hooked to my skills and knowledge. Using Facebook ads, writing good keywords and description.
Been handling projects in website developing using Joomla, Wordpress, HTML5 + CSS3. From basic steps up to expert level of website development like, code hacking to database tables handling. Along my career, I have been webmaster in 3 different companies, my main tasks is to make sure the site is in good shape, checking errors, 404 pages, prevent from hacking, backing up, updating plugins/components etc.
