After graduating from college, I had my first job as a teller at the Philippine Savings Bank.
There, I learned how to deal with different kinds of people (office mates, clients, VIPs, etc).
It taught me how to be friendlier, patient, hard worker and most importantly, I learned how to communicate with people well.
I also learned the importance of teamwork.
Helping one another is a key to success.
After 5 years, I decided to work abroad and fulfill one of my dreams.
I joined Etihad Airways (the national carrier of United Arab Emirates) as a flight attendant.
There were so many new things, far from what I used to do in the bank but they never became a hindrance, instead, I strived more, studied harder and finished the training on time.
I got to work and deal with so many different nationalities, learned something new each and every flight.
Being exposed to different cultures made me become sensitive, in a good way.
After one year of working in the economy class, I was promoted and worked in the business and first classes.
Satisfying a guest is a good thing, exceeding their expectations is another thing.
Times when I had happy guests were one of the best times, it gave contentment and inspired me to be better.
I resigned November of last year for I had to go home to my husband.
We're married 1 year and 1 month now.
I decided to not look for a job immediately for the reason that I want to be better in being a wife first.
I fix our home, learned how to cook and budget our monthly expenses.
Now that I am good at those things already, I am again ready to learn something new and keep myself busy.
I heard about the work from home jobs from a friend and thought how perfect it is for me.
I definitely have around 4-6 extra hours everyday, Mondays to Fridays and I would like to make those extra hours productive and at the same time be of help to someone else's company.
