Profile Description

A magazine spread using Adobe Indesign, and an icon set using Adobe Illustrator, are just two of the latest projects I've finished for Visual Media. I've also created two reverse engineering posts on my blog that requires knowledge on the principles of design, elements of photography, typography, and a basic skill on Adobe Photoshop - of course.

Now, you're probably wondering what those projects are Upgrade to see actual info's not for a client, it's for school. I even finished 22 JavaScript project and one HTML & CSS project for school - I posted them as my pens on Upgrade to see actual info.

Now, you're probably wondering if I've ever done anything like that for a client. My answer for you is this: If Adobe Creative Cloud was just previously accessible to me, I would've. I'm just blessed enough to have a free access right now because I'm taking a design course as a prerequisite for my Certificate on Web Frontend Development. Previously, I've just used programs like Gimp for photo editing, MS Publisher for print ads, and Sony Vegas Pro and Camtasia instead of Adobe Premier and After Effects for video editing.

I know. Those programs are in fact useful. However, the amount of knowledge I gained recently, in just a couple of months, surpassed the knowledge and skills I gained as a Virtual Assistant for seven years! You know us - we're usually tagged as the Jack of all Upgrade to see actual info my case, the Jane of all trades. The problem with this is mastery. My skills had been so diverse that whenever I was asked by a client if I know this and that, I'd say, "yes," but deep inside I'm not confident. Why? Because I lack the mastery! Then where do I turn to learn more about the task? YouTube of course - the holy grail of freelancers where all the knowledgeable people share their ideas, and tutorials.

Virtual tutorials, that includes YouTube and free ones provided by my clients, was my friend for seven years. My mantra then was, if it's free, grab it. If it's paid, don't. After all, I already finished college! I'm a registered nurse, licensed locally, and I'm just learning what I need to learn to get my job done properly. However, something changed my mind.

For the past two to three years, I've been looking for an online web development course, because I want to learn how to code properly. I wasn't just confident with whatever I learned from Freecodecamp and Upgrade to see actual info was just hard for me to grasp everything easily. My search ended when I learned about BYU-Idaho's online degree on Web Design and Development. I enrolled after a year of taking prerequisite courses on BYU Pathway Worldwide, which I gladly took and was blessed for Upgrade to see actual infot only did I learn the principles that I needed to learn that only formal schooling could give, I also learned to enhance my skills on writing and money management.

So, what changed my mind? Why did I finally decided that I need a formal schooling? It's not just about having a hard time learning to Upgrade to see actual info's also not just about needing offers with better rates. And, it's also not just about a great opportunity to learn new skills, because I love learning. What really pushed me to get another degree was my Upgrade to see actual info, they did not literally pushed me to study again - they already trust my knowledge and skills enough. I pushed myself to get another degree because I want to have more capacity to serve my clients better. The more I learn, the more opportunities I have to serve them. I'm doing this for them - my clients.

Right now, I'm a student, and a Virtual Assistant for two long time clients, a Real Estate team called Horton Team, and a life coach, Dr Siva. I spent most of my time daily in front of my laptop doing homework, projects, and studying, online marketing, scheduling, and saving most of my work in the cloud - after having a backup.

I'm not going to brag about all the tools I've used for my previous clients - you can ask me about it during interview. I know that if you are a good client, you'd give enough time for me to learn the tools and programs you want to me to use, whether that's for organizing tasks or ideas, or whether that involves design, video editing, writing, research and coding.

All you have to do is to let me know beforehand why your business is important to you and I'll make it important to Upgrade to see actual infol me your goals and visions and I'll make them my goals and visions, too.
