I have excellent command of the English language, whether written or spoken. I've written a few articles for school papers and personal blogs, and my only weakness in the creative writing field is poetry. Although I can write it, I am not particularly predisposed to doing so, and, without having the flair for it, I cannot thus produce anything other than mediocre poems. I am more comfortable writing prose of any type, and I can adjust to any mood or approach required by the subject. I would be willing to submit samples of my previous works if so requested.
Being a holder of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing diploma and a registered nurse, I am extensively skilled in the field of health. Had there been an overflowing demand for fresh nursing graduates nowadays, I would surely seek employment in the hospital or clinical setting, but seeing as there aren't many opportunities out there at present, I would be perfectly willing to graze in other pastures. My strong points are Medical-Surgical and Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, and I would be very interested in positions involving these fields.
I've had minimal experience in the Business Process Outsourcing field. My first job out of college was as a contact center agent for a communications company handling outbound telemarketing campaigns. I have honed my skills in marketing and sales with the experience I have gained while I held that position. I can work very well with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and I have some knowledge using Adobe Photoshop, although I still have a long way to go before being an expert in it. I can handle typing and encoding jobs, and I am able to multitask well, even under pressure.
In the event of being hired in an online job, I have my own computer and broadband connection at home. Stable internet access is not a problem.
I can work either with strict supervision and direction or otherwise, independently, being creative and taking initiative and being self-directed.
I am looking for short-term employment preferably, but would welcome positions calling for company-building and long-term commitments, depending on the working conditions.
