Way back in my high school days I was a part of a book lovers club and at the same time a part of the toastmasters club wherein i was asked to write and deliver speeches of various topics. Then there were discussions that took place inside the speech laboratory where we can express ourselves, so we laugh, we frown, and did some arguments within the group in a sort of an informal debate because it was a part of the challenging program we had. Such wonderful experiences i am thankful enough for i have learned many things through writing and gave me a bit of a kick in my confidence to stand and talk in front of the crowd which i find nerve racking at first but with a little bit of practice i actually manage to shake my nervousness off my back and it felt surprising inside.
Somehow thinking about it makes me smile.
