Profile Description

I have worked for an I.T company in makati for five years as a junior linux system administrator. My job responsibilities involved monitoring around 15 servers using ssh and the linux command line. We monitor the health of the servers including but not limited to process monitoring, disk space and memory.
We also perform manual back up using ftp and tar commands.
As
a linux hobbyist i have installed my own lamp stack as well as monitored them using Nagios. I'm particularly familiar with fedora, redhat, ubuntu and debian. My being a touch typist helps me a lot in my facility in the command line.
Besides my linux and system administration skills i have also taught introductory physics at the college/university level for seven years. I am skilled in making examinations as well as presentations using microsoft tools.
