I graduated as Cum Laude in 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. This is my first time to look for a real job because I went back to school after graduating to pursue a degree in Psychology. Currently I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and I am finishing my Master's Degree in Nursing.
Before hand, I was active in helping my parents with our family businesses where I documented and filed business transactions and responded to emails from various clients. I addressed their concerns and answered any inquiries that they had. Basically, I was tasked as an Administrative Assistant. However, I believe it's about time that I gain real work experience so that I would be able to grow personally and professionally whether it be in the field of Nursing or in the field of writing.
In line with writing, I know how to work with basic computer programs such as Microsoft Word as well as MS Excel and Power Point. I can type approximately 60 words per minute and I can multi-task when necessary, doing computer work and desk work. If needed, I am very much willing to learn how to use other computer programs in order to become more effective in my line of work.
With regards to my other qualities, I believe I am fluent in speaking and writing in English. I have been into writing since my high-school years and in fact, I was part of the staff of our college publication for two years and during my senior year in college, I became the Editor-in-Chief of our Division's official publication. Moreover, I am determined, organized and hard-working which I believe are qualities that are significant in being able to produce quality work.
Although I have no work experience yet, I will try my hardest to meet the expectations of my future employer as I want to put my best foot forward as much as possible. Basically, I want a stable job where I can serve as an asset to the business or company that I will be part of. I can readily send my resume to anyone interested in hiring me.
“For years, I maxed out my hours, got burnt out, and the quality of my work would start to go down. I decided to take the leap, hire correctly, and now it frees up my time to focus on growing the business.”
