Profile Description

Computer technology is my passion.
I am a licensed public secondary school teacher in the Philippines teaching computer subjects for two years, with Business Technology as the area of specialization. Prior to employment in the government service, I worked in various private companies in the field of computers.
I gained expertise in computers through experience, training, seminars, researches and self-study. For web application, I am currently maintaining our school's and our LGU's website using Joomla CMS and starting to build them on with the latest JAT3 Template Framework.
Working in desktop publishing companies before also gave me knowledge and expertise in desktop publishing software like Adobe
Photoshop and CorelDraw. These software I continue to use in layouting various single and multiple desktop publishing documents.
My average touch-typing speed is 60 words per minute.
For stage theater presentations, I use Pinnacle and SoundForge programs for audio and video-editing. Same software I use when editing wedding videos and other coverage.
My FoxPro programming subject in college also equipped me to venture on database programming in Microsoft Access. My latest projects include a payroll system for a private agency, and the employee profile & service record system for our LGU.
I earn regular extra income at home to support my family doing repairs of desktop computers, laptops, notebook/netbooks, printers, and troubleshooting wired and wireless internet connections. I do home visits and sometimes do online repairs via Teamviewer.
