As a medical virtual assistant with over nine years of experience, I provide high-quality administrative and billing support to healthcare professionals and patients. I am HIPAA-certified and proficient in various Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, such as Kareo, Practice Fusion, GE Centricity, iCanotes, MDLand iClinic, IntelleChart, Amazing Chart, Athena, and eClinicalWorks. I also have experience in Home Medical Equipment (HME) and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) software, such as Fastrack and Bonafide.
I have accumulated seven years of experience as a customer service representative. In this role, my primary responsibility is to attentively address customer inquiries and concerns, striving to provide exceptional service. I ensure prompt resolution of issues and, when necessary, escalate matters to senior staff members. Upholding confidentiality is paramount, and I consistently go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
Currently, I work as a medical/billing virtual assistant for a neurology project, where I handle emails, appointment reminders, medical records, electronic files, authorizations, billing and insurance verification. I am passionate about delivering excellent customer service and building trust with patients and providers. I am also committed to learning new skills and staying updated on the latest trends and best practices in the medical field.
