Profile Description

For two years, I worked as a medical transcriptionist for Paramedix in the Phlippines. Before that, I was a staff nurse in a regional training and teaching hospital. I have recently moved to the UK to study a Bachelor's and Honours Degree in Nursing in a university. Therefore, I am highly familiar with the medical jargon. In addition, I have excellent English Language Skills especially in Listening and Writing as evidenced by my scores in International English Language Testing System. To be specific, my average band score is of 8 out of 9: Listening band-8, Reading band-8.5, Writing band- 7.5 and Speaking band-8I can dedicate 10 hours per week in transcribing audio files. I am the type of person who never procrastinates and completes assigned tasks on time.
Back in Colllege and Highschool, I was a writer and news editor for our school publications. I also wrote book and film reviews for the college paper. Currently, I am composing academic essays for my course. I can say that I am well-practised in grammar and punctuation, sentence structure, formal writing and the like.
