Profile Description

I have three years solid experience in auditing.
During my stint with Ernst&Young;, I was exposed to various clients from different business industries.
I acquired proficiency in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), IFRS and in applicable local tax laws.
I am well versed in process documentation and internal controls testing, balance reconciliation or account justification and in financial statement analysis.
After external audit, I ventured into internal auditing for two and a half years in a multi-national company specializing in freight audit and logistics solutions.
My responsibilities consisted of process documentation and setting up of internal controls.
Further, I was able to gain experience in SAS 70 audits which were conducted within our company.
My duties also covered freight audit.
After internal audit, I transferred to FInance, also within the same multi-national company, and worked as senior finance officer for almost a year.
My responsibilities consisted mainly of overseeing the daily financial operations of the company ensuring that all financial transactions were correctly captured.
I was also responsible for ensuring that the financial statements were accurate and fairly present the position of the company.
I also did budgeting and variance analysis on a monthly basis.
I am familiar with applicable Philippine tax and other statutory laws.
After finance til present, I joined a multi-national company engaged in providing financial shared services to its affiliates worldwide.
I am currently occupying a lead position for the general ledger department which exposed me to various accounting systems (e.g., SAP VCM, SAP R3, SAP BCS, Quickbooks).
I ensure that the journal transactions are accurate and duly supported, as well as comply with the applicable accounting policies of the company.
I am also responsible for ensuring the accuracy and adequacy of the balance sheet reconciliation.
It is also my responsibility to ensure that all currently perfomed processes are properly documented to ensure undisrupted business operations.
I am also involved in our internal company publication.
I can work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
