Profile Description

• Provide technical supports to all departments and company affiliates that comprises (CASPI,
TCI, T&H, ACCI, K&A, Hotel and Owners Rep.)
• Administers medium to large network or group of networks typically consisting of around 600 or more workstations/computers including company affiliates and utilizing one or more TCP/IP networking protocols and/or one or more Windows-based or non-Windows based network operating systems.
• Provide technical support to all end-users request and IT related problems.
• Provide solutions and recommendations on business IT infrastructure.
• Install LAN system on every new ship (Bulk or PCTC) of their networking connectivity, internet and alarm equipments.
• Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of all servers and workstations in all offices.
• Installs, configures, and maintains network core systems, switches, routers, Ethernet networks, network cabling, IP Phones, PABX systems and other related equipment, devices, and systems.
• Setup ODBC, DSN, TCP/IP, IPX for shipbiz application database connectivity.
• Setups the following technologies DHCP, DNS, Mail, FTP, Proxy.
• Provide Telephone Supports (PABX, Direct Lines, VOIP).
• Provide Software support on Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point, MS Access, Lotus Notes, Outlook Express, Sybase, Accounting software, Purchasing system, man hour system and etc.
• Maintains database files Integrity and Security.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all existing server such as (Purchasing server, Ship repair server, accounting server, New Ship server, Administration server, and web and DNS server).
• Configures server’s user policies, file ownership, accessibility and security.
• Configure and maintains Company Web Site Server’s Information.
• Installation of other internal hardware component such as additional hard disk, additional memory and more…
• Install Operating System such as Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 98, Windows 2000 Server, Windows NT Server, Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 R2.
• Install business software such as Microsoft Office applications, Lotus Notes and etc.
• Manage new computer purchase, hardware and licenses.
• Monitors the capacity, utilization, workload, and service level of network, Documents information to support maintenance or upgrade of network facilities and equipment.
• Prepares and maintains reports and applicable records of network hardware inventory (switches, routers, hubs, modems, printers, etc.) by site and system, server names, IP addresses, user lists and user access and security.
• Regularly updates of anti-virus definitions in all client PC’s.
• Regular updates of Microsoft Update Critical updates for any possible system bugs.
• May perform a variety of administrative support functions such backup of network and server configuration, etc.
• Develop policies and standard operating procedures for use in the installation and operation of software and hardware systems.
• Performs thorough technical evaluation needed for systems administration and networking.
• Design, Setup, Manage, Secure and Maintain the Corporate IT Infrastructure, Tasks include Hardware and Software management (acquisition, development, inventory).
• Provide direct technical support for the coordination, programming, and implementation of releases, upgrades, or changes to operating system software and the range of products and productivity tools that support production and test environments relating to our business computing and our custom applications.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities that management may assign from time to time.
