Starting in grade school, I had been a consistent contributor of our school paper. I had the chance to become the editor-in-chief of our high school Filipino publication while contributing some compositions (i.e. articles and poems) to our English publication. I have led our special studies/research/thesis group in college, investigating the reinforcing factors that may influence mothers in the Philippines in choosing the place of child delivery. I had many chances of writing articles and poems, editing and proofreading the works of my colleagues with our professors, and conducting relevant researches with rigor and accuracy.
Working as a research assistant for 7 months, I had been exposed to different kinds of research, including systematic reviews for the development of health policies, wherein I have worked with the World Health Organization (WHO). I have also experienced accomplishing tasks such as data entry / data encoding as a research assistant.
I am currently employed in RareJob, Inc., the No. 1 Online English School in Japan. Since 2009, I have been teaching the English language to the Japanese. I know how to work with MS Word and can also handle MS Excel and MS Powerpoint. I am proficient in the English language and I can proofread/edit compositions.
I always try to figure things out myself and I am not shy to ask others whenever I do not understand something. I am responsible and I am very happy to help you with your business.
