I have worked for various companies before that requires me to speak English everyday. Like for example, as a Collections Agent for Bank of America, we need to call out to customers who have delinquent accounts ranging from 30-90 days. Convincing them to make payments for their account & to bring it back to current status. It's a very tough job because you need to convince them over the phone to make a payment & it's not easy for them (customers) to trust someone
& give your credit card information over the phone. Aside from this, I also do manual documentation for every phone call that I made. Putting everything that me and the customer have agreed upon.
On the other hand, After I left the call center Industry, I have also worked as a Back Office Assistant for HSBC. I do pre-matching of trades for Euro Markets. I call out to clients & ask them about trade information & see to it that it matches what we have in our system. It involves putting the correct information in the computer and that includes amount and all other trade information. At the end of the day, I also do some documentation on what needs to be followed-up for the next day. On this kind of job, you need to be more accurate when inputting things in the system because we deal with big companies in UK and the amounts are high.
“It definitely helped transform my business and take a significant load off for me.”
