I was a special education teacher before I became a call center agent. As a SPED teacher, I was able to handle students with autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy and mental retardation. We provided them with treatments that was based on their needs, which may be physical,emotional or mental. I can say that I learned how to be more patient and "how to think out of the box"during my stint as a teacher. So,when I became a call center agent, I had no problem dealing with irate and confused clients. When it comes to my computer skills, I am familiar with MS Word, but I am very willing to learn other systems that my employer will require.
