My English is excellent - both written and spoken. I use MS Word and MS Excel extensively, MS Powerpoint less so. I am a heavy user of Quicken and use it to track both my personal and business expenses. I use the internet primarily for e-mail, social networking (Facebook, LinkedIn), online personal banking, online personal stock trading, online commerce (purchasing of goods & services; reservation bookings, etc.), research and information-gathering. I am currently working on my first blog - my first trip to Europe with my wife, a 21-day tour across five cities in five countries which we arranged entirely on our own (through the internet), what we learned, what we enjoyed and what we didn't, the things we did right and the mistakes we made.
I have a good working knowledge of the computer, petrochemical, PVC and garments industries because of my various work experiences in the past. I am very organized, meticulous with a passion for detail, articulate and professional. I tackle problems through a structured, process-oriented approach (which I probably developed during my early days as a COBOL programmer) and I possess good planning and implementation skills - which
serve me well in my consulting engagements. I always strive for efficiencies and cost-effectiveness which helps me hone my business judgment skills and, as a project manager,
I am a stickler for meeting agreed deadlines and timetables.
