Profile Description

I teach nursing students Related Learning Experience (RLE) in the clinical setting using lectures, actual demonstration of procedures and nursing techniques, group discussions, lectures, case studies and independent and/or group projects.I also participate in planning curriculum, course outlines, course requirements and program of activities; prepare hand-outs, course outlines, reference materials, dummies and other supplies needed to aid teaching.
Considering the above mentioned categories, I evaluate nursing students’ progress through prepared and administered examinations, graded recitation, class participation and researches and confer results with the Dean and other faculty members concerned with the students’ total development.
Part of my job is to orient nursing students regarding expectations, activities in the clinical area and basis of evaluation for clinical experience.
I hold individual guidance and counseling session with students, as necessary based on assessed needs and problems identifying their strengths and weaknesses in terms of academic, clinical and personal behavior to be able to schedule and render one-on-one discussion and remedial classes.My clinical duties include supervision and evaluation of nursing students while performing nursing procedures.
