Profile Description

I've had my Bachelor's Degree in Geodetic Engineering from the University of the Philippines (Diliman Campus) in 1995 and since then I have gained a 16 years solid experience of both officeworks and field data gathering. Started out as CAD Mapper for a surveying company, I am now acting as Senior (Geodetic) Engineer /CAD-GIS Specialist for the Philippines' pioneer in engineering consultancy. Prior to my current job, I was also involved (aside from a surveying firm) in a land developer, an AEC company and a triple-A construction corporation. Well I may not have the formal training in CAD & GIS, my self-taught-type nature of personality allowed me to learn the technology far better than those that came out of CAD schools. For this I am currently one of the company's senior mentor educators (CAD & GIS) for incoming young engineers. Periodically I conduct seminars in Civil 3D, Land Desktop & AutoCAD as well as Global Mapper & Google Earth data integration. I am also highly efficient in survey data processing as well as capable of civil design works. My CV lists the softwares I am most familiar and proficient with. I was also once a resource speaker for a GIS (vis-a-vis ArcGIS) seminar for National Power Corporation (NAPOCOR) with no less than department managers & supervisors as my participants.
