I am currently working in Colegio del Santo Niño, an institution administered by the Augustinian Friars in Cebu City for five years already since 2006.
I am designated as the Cashier and Petty Cash Officer.
Being in the position, my responsibilities includes receiving payments from students and parents; preparing receivables; making monthly cash receipts reports; giving monthly allowance of teachers and athletes; managing the petty cash fund; recording individual account of students in the subsidiary ledger and other duties assigned by the School Treasurer.
I have been connected in Pelican Express, a courier company for six years since year 2000 to 2006 having the designation of Branch Supervisor. The company is delivering credit cards of major banks in the Philippines like BPI, BDO, Citibank and etc.
I am tasked to met the clients every month, supervised the business operation in Cebu, prepared monthly reports, managed the petty cash and prepare the payables.
I believed that skills is important but it should be paired with good working character in order to become efficient.
