I had served as a college instructor for basic philosophy for three (3) months where I taught freshman college students. I also served as an elective official for the local youth community council called Sangguniang Kabataan for five (5) years where we initiated, conducted and evaluated scholarship and socio-civic programs for the youth. I also worked for two and a half years as a Senior Personnel Specialist in the Civil Service Commission, the central personnel agency of the Philippines where I participated in research projects on different fields affecting employment in the government and other related activities. While there, I also worked towards gaining my Competent Communicator Award from Toastmasters International. After working for the Civil Service, I was called to be a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for one and a half years where I was able to visit people from all walks of life and help them learn about the gospel. There I was able to converse effectively using two new dialects, namely Cebuano and Hiligaynon which I had learned in the areas where I served. From the work experiences that I have, I can say that I have strong communication skills and I am a fast learner.
