Profile Description

I have worked with the Deputy Executive Director for Research and Development of the Philippine Rice Research Institute as a Science Research Specialist after graduating from college. I was involved more on coordinating with different units within the institute as well as external organizations in order to come up with solutions on existing research problems. During that time, I was also in charge of being the Assistant/Managing editor of an international journal for breeding and research (SABRAO). After which, I also had a chance to be a research scholar under the ADB-JPS program. I was given a chance to do research at the International Rice Research Institute, particularly on the development communication aspect of developing online curriculum for farmers.
I was also a contributor to the PhilRice Newsletter and website.
I would say I am knowledgeable on communication strategies and approaches, process documentation, social marketing, and research and development program/project management.I have a profound understanding of the importance of communication in the context of attaining sustainability in any development endeavor; knowledgeable on development issues. I have great planning and analytical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and organizational communication.
