I have extensive experience research and writing during my academic years, and have been awarded the Best Research Award in my high school senior year, and College Leadership Award upon college graduation.
My college thesis was also nominated for Best College Thesis.
I have been typing since the first grade, and my typing speed varies from 70-80 WPM (words per minute).
I am no expert, but I work very efficiently with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
I am rather proficient with Internet research and communication, having been exposed to it since 1990-1991, compared to other Filipinos my age.
I could say that I have intermediate proficiency in strategic planning (with at least 4 years experience), organizational development, scheduling and arranging travel, staff training and development (with at least 3 years experience each), and project management (with at last 2 years experience).
My interpersonal traits and attitudes include:
1. Appreciation for cultural, sectoral and gender differentiations, a sensitivity which strengthens the foundation for effective communication.
2. Leadership charisma and dynamism that engender cooperation in achieving group goals.
3. Inquisitiveness and pragmatism which aid in prudent resource use.
4. Dependability and trustworthiness that elicit confidence of superiors, peers and subordinates.
5. Cheerfulness of disposition that enlivens group relations.
6. A sense of humility that recognizes self limitations and underscores the willingness to learn.
I have a diplomatic, refined, intelligent, thoughtful, warm, and social nature. I am able to carefully weigh opposing sides of any issue, and I am keenly aware of other people's preferences. Although I like to take leadership roles, my need to be fair and to please everyone equally can sometimes make it difficult for me to make decisions.
I am the kind of person who values discipline, humility, honesty, diligence, sincerity, loyalty, and kindness. These values I also manifest in my daily activities to the best of my abilities. I am also the kind of person who wants an idealized meeting of the minds in an atmosphere of civility, refinement, and reasonableness. I enjoy plenty of intellectual stimulation, may it come in the form of physical activities like sports and performing, or in the simple forms of friendly debates and discussions. I believe that every individual has his/her own opinions and experiences, and that these should be valued as fountains of knowledge.
