Profile Description

As a CPA, I have practiced my profession in the field of public and private accounting.
For public accounting, I have experienced being an external auditor.
In this field, I have gained the experience of checking the accuracy and completeness of all balance sheet and income statement accounts such as cash, accounts receivables, accounts payable, income, expenses, etc.
Also, in this profession, I have experienced in dealing with government agencies such as Securities and Exchange Commission, Bureau of Internal Revenue. Board on Investments, etc.
I also was connected with one of the biggest Real Estate Industries here in Cebu Philippines.
I am in the Accounting department handling Compliance of all governmental requirements as well as Internal Requirements from internal customer. I am also taking care of all the General Ledger accounts and making sure that all accounts are being monitored monthly by making sure that general ledger balances and subsidiary balances are equal.
I also do bank reconciliation and bank monitoring.
I was able to work with a New Zealand Company named Slater Company, Chartered Accountant and worked as a Virtual Accounting Assistant.
I was assigned in updating the all the client's trial balance as per last year's closing figures as the company is having their transition of new accounting software - Banklink to Xero. The employment lasted for a year and a half.
I was also given the opportunity to work with an Australian Company Name PrincipleFocus, Consultancy Services wherein I worked as a Virtual Bookkeeper.
I was tasked to record all the payables to the system - XERO as well as do the bank recon.
The employment lasted for almost 2 years.
With the profession I have, I am inclined with different accounting softwares such as IFCA, Great Plains e-Enterprise, Quickbooks, Peachtree, Xero, Quickbooks, MYOB, BankLink and Tally.
I am also fond of searching the net through the use of google, wikipedia, etc. I also update myself from the net of all the latest news in my country as well as with others.
Being able to update myself with the latest trends and news, I'll be able to gather data to gain additional general knowledge.
In my college years, I was once chosen by my professor to be the representative of my class for the Typing Competition and fortunately, I won 2nd place.
I can type 50 letters a minute.
