In the first BPO company I worked for, I was a Technical Support Representative so already have that skill in troubleshooting computers, look for shops that could deliver the orders our customer gave us plus the soft skills for customer service.
In the next company, that's where I currently work, I was assigned to a billing account, so I got the skill of analyzing and explaining bills to our customers. Aside from that, we also get to educate them some troubleshooting steps for their cable modems and internet connections.
After six months of under the billing department, I was transferred to chat support for Sales Department. Here I was trained to process orders, encode customers' information to the system as well as upsell our products and services.
Now, I'm back to a technical support team where we provision modems for our customers.
Aside from the skills I acquired from the BPO industry, I also have that skill in lesson planning and item analysis because I am teacher in profession.
