Profile Description

I’m a Licensed Nurse here in the Philippines and in Tennessee. For the past 3 to 4 years, I worked as a Utilization Review Nurse in a clinical process outsourcing company here in the Philippines. I reviewed medical records and prepare clinical appeals (when appropriate) on medical necessity, level of care, length of stay, and authorization denials for hospitalized patients. I also make and receive calls from Adjusters, patients, doctors, nurses, MD’s secretaries, attorneys, among others. Furthermore, I was a former transcriptionist working for Acusis; in addition to my 3-years hospital clinical experience here in the Philippines working in areas like Operating Room, Intensive Care Unit, Medical/General Ward, Emergency Room, Pediatric Ward, Phlebotomy Department, among others. I have a vast work experience working online too (in Odesk) which includes transcription company management, virtual assistance, etc.

I am currently working as a project co-manager. I manage a team of transcriptionists and editors for an Australian general transcription company. However, currently the audio files have gotten low. I am now looking for another job.
