I am an 18 year old college junior in the Ateneo de Zamboanga University taking up BS Accountancy. Though I'm taking up Accountancy, my heart belongs to English and IT.
I can say that I'm pretty good with English and I'm still willing to improve. I'm a grammar Nazi in a way. I only use big, fancy words when the need to do so arises because I want everyone to understand what I write without checking the dictionary. I can write a decent article and I actually enjoy researching about topics because I learn new things. I've had experience writing all sorts of things for school from simple essays to journal article critiques and even research papers. I don't have professional experience (unless you consider being an associate editor of our elementary newspaper professional) but--being the perfectionist I am--I always try to achieve excellence in all the work I do.
I love IT. Though I'm not formally educated in the IT field, I do know a thing or two. I know basic html and to show you what I can do, here is a webpage that I've recently made for our Marketing class using Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 given two days: http://sma-randomkitties.blogspot.com. I love Adobe Photoshop. I'm good at it but I'm far from the "graphic designer" level. I've tried video editing too but it's not really my forte. I am very much open to learn more, though. It's really fun. Also, I'm very familiar with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint.
I'm still a student, with no professional work experience. But I would definitely deliver the best I can. I will not let school affect my work and vice versa. You can expect quality work from me. I am open-minded and I'm a fast learner. I live to please and I would hate to disappoint my employers.
