Profile Description

16 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator for General Builder, Main Contractors, Event Management company and a Cost Consultancy company in Singapore and Philippines.

General Builder / Main Contractors/ Event Management Company
- Pre Contract cost management of projects from tender document and drawing assessment, measurement and quotation evaluation, budget forecast, tender submission and tender report.
- Post Contract cost management of projects such as procurement of materials, monthly cash flow reporting, submission of variations and closure of Final Account with Cost Consultant.

Cost Consultancy Company
- Pre Contract cost management of projects from cost budgeting, tender submission comparison, tender recommendation and documentation of contract documents.
- Post Contract cost management of projects such as contracts administration, valuation of progress claims, variation certification and closure of final account with Main contractors/General Builders.


Inclusive of the above, 3 years of experience as an Event Facilities Supervisor with a Project Management company in Singapore for Singapore Grand Prix – Hospitality Facilities at Turn 23 and Corporate Suites at Pit Straight
- Monitor the work progress closely and ensuring prompt delivery of the material, installation schedule and the final testing & commissioning as per the construction programme.
- Coordinating work activities with other supervisors and Singapore GP Staff for other package to ensure the other facilities are being put as per approved plan and schedule.
- Conduct joint inspection with the respective contractors, generate the defects list and ensure that the defects are fully rectified before taking over the said facilities.
- Event Day Response Team duties such as assessment of issues and ensure prompt settlement of issues by designated contractors.
- Progress claim assessment, variation approval and Final account settlement.


Knowledgeable in construction methods for structural and architectural works, ability to interpret drawings and intensive knowledge in quantity measurements.
