Hi! I’m Shellamae Pagobo from Cebu, Philippines. I have experience as a Customer Service Representative in a Telco Account at Sykes from 2021 to 2022. I handled customer concerns, billing inquiries, technical support, and account-related issues while maintaining excellent customer service.



I also have 3 years of international work experience in Japan as a Manufacturing Operator in a Plastic Molding company. This experience helped me develop discipline, attention to detail, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. I also have basic Nihongo communication skills.



I may not have direct Virtual Assistant experience yet, but I am highly motivated, quick to learn, and ready to apply my customer service and international work experience to help clients achieve their goals.

Before working as a Customer Service Representative (CSR), my family owned and managed a small retail business, commonly known as a sari-sari store in the Philippines. This experience introduced me to the world of customer service and sales at an early age. I developed valuable customer service and sales skills by observing my mother, who handled customers efficiently and built strong relationships with them. She had an excellent way of making customers feel comfortable by addressing them warmly and creating a friendly atmosphere. This approach helped us gain loyal customers and establish long-term relationships with them. One important sales technique I learned from her was understanding customer needs and offering suitable alternatives. For example, if a customer wanted to buy Coca-Cola but it was out of stock, she would confidently recommend another cold beverage such as Royal or Sprite, highlighting its benefits and encouraging the customer to consider the alternative. In many cases, this resulted in a successful sale while still satisfying the customer’s needs. From this experience, I learned that understanding customers is essential in both sales and customer service. Customers may have a specific product in mind, but it is important to identify what best meets their needs and provide effective solutions. This lesson has helped shape my approach to delivering excellent customer service and building positive customer relationships.
