Profile Description

I have been exposed to almost all types of writing. I have written for the college newsletter, I have won an award for a literary contest for fiction, I have done news writing, and I have contributed essays to various local government groups. I graduated having English as my major. I graduated with honors as cum laude. For almost a year now, I have been connected to a publishing company as a copy editor, exposing me to the rules in grammar, manuscript formatting, indexing, the conventions in publication, etc. I am pretty much a well-rounded person, and in fact, I have exposure to guitar playing, acting, belly dancing, oriental dances, politics, and others. I can work under pressure but I always avoid pressure since I make it a point that when deadlines are given, they are met. I can also work with less supervison having been exposed to the classroom setting (as a teacher), usually using my initiative almost all the time.
