Hi, I’m Angelo Bucag, a Freight Operations Specialist and Sales & Dispatcher VA from the Philippines with hands-on experience supporting broker-side transportation and logistics operations.
I currently support Top Star Auto Transport, where I manage approximately 20 transport leads and assist 30+ customers daily. My responsibilities include lead follow-up, customer communication, pricing discussions, load posting, carrier sourcing, driver assignment, shipment tracking, and coordinating updates between customers and carriers throughout the transportation process.
I regularly use Central Dispatch to post loads, source qualified carriers, coordinate driver assignments, and monitor active shipments from pickup to delivery. I also completed practical freight brokerage training covering LTL & FTL quoting, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), DAT and TruckStop load boards, track & trace, freight documentation, rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs, carrier communication, and operational reporting.
In addition to my logistics background, I bring over 7 years of experience in customer service, sales, and client relations. This experience has helped me develop strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and relationship-management skills while working in fast-paced environments.
