Every individual is a unique being. Each person possesses qualities which could make one good or bad. Each quality may be socially or culturally acquired.
I take pride of myself for I come in an all-in-one package that waves versatility and skill.
I love relating with people. Simply because I do it all the time and I feel fulfilled whenever I make other people happy.
The ability to think a loud becomes an edge for me as a journalist and a writer.
In one way or another, writing has taught me how to be patient. As a journalist, I've been a writer of the University publication for some time and is one of the writers of Miss Silliman Magazine 2003 issue. I believe on what Jimmy Baca said in his essay entitled Coming into Language and I quote, “The power to express myself was a welcome storm rasping at tendril roots, flooding my soul’s cracked dirt. Writing was water that cleansed the wound and fed the parched root of my heart”.
Another strength I have is standing up to my principles in life. I don’t want to be pushed around and I make it a point to always fight for my rights. In this profession, one should protect the image of the client to be an effective practitioner. It has always been my practice to fight for what is right and just.
Critical thinking is also an indispensable factor in achieving success as a media practitioner. But this does not always mean being a fast thinker. It should come alongside being a sure and safe thinker.
I also had an extensive experience in doing research on topics concerning the community and the environment. One of her environmental research made is entitled “Kuhol Extracts as Pest Control in Rice Fields”.I have
also conducted one scientific research regarding the preservation of mangoes using the mangoes itself as bio-control. My communication research experience will help a lot on how I deal with the problem of the client. The theories and principles that I have learned is one of my weapons to become a very competitive and good writer.
We evaluate ourselves in relation to how we have come to grow and what we have done for ourselves and for others. Looking back, I have learned to strive for excellence but still willing to learn and improve oneself.
