Working as an Appeal Nurse, we cater providers appeals specifically in CA, NV and CO. Providers claim who was initially denied, we are the one who do the appeals review. We must have to make sure that their claims were valid so we can proceed in reviewing the case. Once we are done, we send the case to a MD who specializes the case. Once the MD has the decision (Upheld, Overturned/Partially Overturned), we make sure everything is correct and finally the last one that we do is send the decision letter to the providers.
