Profile Description

My name is Jehzeel Palacios. I am a registered Medical Technologist with five years of clinical experience in a hospital based, tertiary laboratory. My duties and responsibilities were that of a generalist, which means that I perform the function of sample collection, sample processing and releasing of laboratory results. Admittedly, I do not have any experience with being a virtual assistant, and I believe that my hands on benchwork experience isn’t transferrable to the position I am applying for. However, my clinical experience provided me with solid background in laboratory procedures, their purpose and principles. I am well verse with medical terminologies and jargons, as such I can understand healthcare related conversations and topics. Furthermore, part of my responsibilities include answering calls to address laboratory related queries and provide solutions to concerns raised, should there be any need for it. In a way, that experience provided a training ground for me to be quick on my feet when it comes to solving problems being raised by a client.
