Hi, I'm a Bookkeeper who is currently looking for part-time, flexible work. Helping small businesses to keep their finances from turning into a mess is my goal.
Being in the accounting industry for seven years, I'm now familiar with different accounting software like SAP, QuickBooks Desktop, and Foundation. I also got certified recently as a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor.
My recent job is at RedHammer LLC, which is an accounting firm based in Hawaii. I handled multiple US accounts with high-volume transactions. Coming from a public accounting environment, I'm used to fast-paced work, tight deadlines, and busy seasons.
My tasks usually involve bank reconciliations, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR). Additionally, I help with resolving discrepancies or performing account clean-ups.
What you don't have to worry about when we work together:
• Sorting and categorizing expenses
• Keeping track of invoices and payments
• Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
• Managing accounts receivable and payable
• Making sure your books match reality (no missing transactions)

I have hands-on experience using QB Desktop for almost 3 years. I use the Write Checks window to record and issue payments. I also regularly use Enter Bills and Pay Bills to record vendor bills and clear them out as payments are made. I use Receive Payments to apply customer payments and Make Deposits to record bank deposits accurately. I’ve also performed inventory adjustments using the Adjust Quantity/Value on Hand to keep stock and cost data accurate. As for bank reconciliation, I use the Reconcile button under the Banking menu and make sure that the difference is 0. I've used QBD for day-to-day accounting tasks, and I'm now comfortable navigating the software. I’m also a QB Online Certified Advisor. While I haven’t managed client accounts in QBO yet, I’m familiar with core functions like invoicing, bills, bank reconciliation, and reporting. I'm ready to apply this knowledge to my future clients.
