I have several years of hands-on experience using AutoCAD for construction and engineering projects. I use AutoCAD to review and interpret architectural and structural drawings, prepare shop drawings, cutting lists, and layout plans, and support project execution and approvals. My work includes coordinating drawings with design teams, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications, and using drawings as the basis for material take-offs and cost estimation. I am comfortable working with layered drawings, scaling, annotations, and revisions, and I use AutoCAD regularly as part of estimating, documentation, and project coordination tasks.

I have hands-on experience in construction cost estimation gained through my work as a Civil / Project Engineer and Project-in-Charge. I regularly prepare detailed material take-offs and bills of quantities (BOQ) based on drawings, plans, and specifications for project bidding and budgeting. My estimating work includes analyzing scope requirements, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing, and using Excel to develop accurate cost breakdowns for materials and labor. I also support tender submissions and assist in cost control by monitoring budgets, identifying variances, and coordinating adjustments during project execution. I am detail-oriented, comfortable working with construction drawings, and able to deliver organized, reliable estimates that support project planning and decision-making.

I have strong experience using D5 Render to produce high-quality 3D visualizations for construction and interior fit-out projects. I use D5 Render to create realistic renderings, walkthroughs, and presentation visuals based on AutoCAD and SketchUp models to support client approvals, project proposals, and design coordination. My workflow includes importing models, applying accurate materials and lighting, adjusting scenes for realism, and producing clear visuals that communicate design intent effectively. I am detail-oriented and able to deliver fast, high-quality renders that support both technical decision-making and client presentations.

I have project management experience gained through my roles as Project Engineer and Project-in-Charge, where I was responsible for planning, scheduling, cost monitoring, and coordination with contractors and suppliers. I regularly develop and monitor project schedules using S-curve analysis to track progress, forecast delays, and support management decision-making. I also handle cost monitoring by comparing actual progress and expenses against approved budgets, identifying variances early, and coordinating corrective actions to keep projects on track. Collaboration with contractors is a key part of my role—I conduct coordination meetings, align construction activities with schedules and drawings, resolve technical and sequencing issues, and ensure work complies with quality and safety standards. Through clear communication and organized documentation, I help ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

My background in manual and Excel-based material take-offs allows me to quickly adapt to PlanSwift’s tools for measuring quantities and organizing estimates. I am comfortable learning and applying estimating software efficiently and can deliver accurate take-offs based on construction drawings.
