Multidisciplinary Artist: John Federis is not just a visual artist; he's deeply involved in tattooing, illustration/painting, graphic design, fashion and music. This makes him a multidisciplinary creative professional.
Local & International Experience: While his base is in Manila, he has worked outside the Philippines in the tattoo industry — showing both local roots and international exposure. He also holds a valid certificate for tattooing. He worked in Cambridge, Oxford and London, England as well as in the Grand Cayman Islands. While abroad, he regularly participates in art exhibitions, be it locally and in the country he's currently living in.
Musician Identity: His involvement with the band Final Vow and his guitar work indicate that his music is more than a hobby; it's part of his professional identity. Currently working with the band Sentient Beings, their music leans towards non-vocal, progressive jazz-fusion compositions. He also played a couple of shows in London, Oxford and Grand Cayman, collaborating with musicians ranging from rock, reggae to jazz.
