Shifting from being a barista to becoming a virtual assistant has been a big but exciting change in my life. When I worked as a barista, my days were filled with the smell of coffee, busy mornings, and friendly faces. I learned how to be patient, organized, and deal with different kinds of people every day. Now, as a newbie virtual assistant, I’m exploring a whole new world — working online, managing emails, scheduling tasks, and helping clients from my computer. It’s challenging at first, but I’m enjoying the process of learning new digital skills and growing more confident each day. One of the best parts about this shift is that I now have more time to spend with my family. When I was working in a coffee shop, my schedule was fixed and sometimes tiring. But now, I can work from home, balance my time better, and still be present for the people I love. Being a virtual assistant may be new for me, but it’s a step toward a more flexible and meaningful life. I’m proud of how far I’ve come — from serving coffee to serving clients online — and I’m excited to see where this new journey will take me
