Profile Description

Hi! I am ---------- , a Registered Nutritionist by profession. I have worked as a nutritionist-dietitian in a clinical setting and ventured into the digital world as a medical virtual assistant in the past 3 years.
I have worked for a Nephrology clinic and Podiatric clinic and my main tasks were email management, social media posting, appointment scheduling, faxing lab orders and other medical documents, new patient intake, assisting in medical billing, answering calls and doing outbound calls as well. I have also experienced insurance verification, checking of claims, prior authorization with denials and appeals and have also an immense familiarity with EMR navigation including AdvancedMD, Epic, Athena health, MDland and Practice fusion. As for our CRM, we mainly used google workspace and teams as our communication means.
With my three years of experience as a medical virtual assistant in a nephrology group and having attained a TELC B1 level certification in German language, I’ve demonstrated a strong willingness to learn further skills that will add value to both myself and my future clients.
