Over the past 5 years, I’ve worked in different industries — Accounting, Logistics, Sales & Marketing, Office Administration, Construction, and Telecommunications. Each role gave me valuable experience and skills that shaped me into someone adaptable, resourceful, and committed to continuous growth.
Throughout my career, I always asked myself one important question: “Is this really the job for me?” To answer that, I created four personal factors that I use to measure whether a role truly fits:
Work-Life Balance – Can this job still allow me to have dinner with my family?
Fair Compensation – Does it pay me well enough to support my needs?
Learning & Growth – Am I gaining new skills and knowledge that will help me grow?

During the pandemic, I realized there was one more factor I had overlooked: time for myself. That realization pushed me to shift my career path. I wanted a role where I could manage my time, continue learning, and still meet all five factors I value most. That’s how I found my way to freelancing and the Virtual Assistant profession.
