I would describe myself as a hardworking, reliable, and flexible person. I am a firm believer that life is an act of continuous self-discovery. Professionally, I have been working for over 4 years now. I worked as a Junior Accountant in Viva Beauty Corporation, a start-up business under Viva Group of Companies. I was also part of the #1 auditing firm in the Philippines and the largest professional firm, SGV & Company, as an Audit and Assurance Associate. Additionally, I worked at Yakult Philippines Incorporated, a retail and manufacturing company, as a Bookkeeper. I am experienced in general accounting, external auditing, bookkeeping, and taxation. I firmly believe that my professional skills, values, and experiences make me a strong candidate for this position.
I love trying new things and learning new skills. In my spare time, I enjoy running or walking. I also love watching movies, documentary shows, and YouTube videos for Excel tutorials. I read non-fiction books, and lately, I?ve been exploring cooking as a hobby when I?m feeling bored.
Experience: 2 - 5 years
In my role as a bookkeeper at my first company, I was responsible for processing payroll for 30 to 40 employees, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursements, including any necessary adjustments. I also handled the preparation and filing of government contributions such as SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth, which were reflected in the employees’ payroll deductions. In my second job as an Auditor, I was responsible for auditing the payroll accounts of various clients to ensure accuracy, compliance with government regulations, and adherence to internal company policies. This involved reviewing payroll computations, verifying government remittances, and ensuring that all statutory deductions and benefits were properly accounted for and reported.
Experience: 2 - 5 years
I started my career as a Bookkeeper at a manufacturing company in the Philippines. In this role, I was responsible for recording daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing financial reports. I also handled government remittances and filings, including tax returns and other statutory requirements. In addition to bookkeeping tasks, I was in charge of employee payroll processing and assisted in the preparation of financial statements for audit purposes. Over time, I was also entrusted with training new team members while continuing to manage the bookkeeping needs of the company I was assigned to.
Experience: 1 - 2 years
I have 1–2 years of professional experience in auditing publicly listed and private entities across the retail, manufacturing, logistics, and oil and gas industries. My responsibilities included obtaining a thorough understanding of client accounting processes, preparing detailed process documentation, evaluating the design and implementation of internal controls, identifying key risk areas, and performing substantive and assertion-based audit procedures. I also assisted in the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
