Profile Description

Information and Communication Technology / Systems Administration
• Server Administration
o An expert in setting up enterprise servers including software installation, and configuration of server components, including but not limited to:
Setting up Windows Server 2003 and Linux servers like: Web Servers, Mail Servers, Application Servers, SMS Gateways, SQL Servers, mySQL Servers, File Servers, Terminal Servers, DNS Servers, Lotus Domino Servers, Media Servers, Instant Messaging Servers, Proxy Servers, VOIP servers, etc.
o An expert in hardware assembly of customized servers on all scales, from SOHO to large enterprise deployment.
o Troubleshooting and maintenance of servers
• Workstations Configuration
o Setting up of client workstations under Windows or Linux based platforms. Installation of client Office suites, applications, and desktop software including networking and peripheral installations.
o Troubleshooting and maintenance of workstations
• Mobile Devices
o Setting up of mobile devices like Pocket PC’s, Palm, Java, and Symbian OS applications for enterprise use.
o Reverse engineering of mobile devices
• Other hardware and components
o Installation of power management systems like UPS and backup generators
o Troubleshooting of hardware components
o Setup of RAID storage devices and data backup devices
o Setting up of imaging devices
• Networking
o Network design and cabling
o Setting up of routers and firewalls for intranet and internet deployment

Web Programming/Development Work
o Visual, navigation & interface design; web design, development and implementation; site management and administration;
o Use of website development tools, database management, javascript integration, flash animation, compilation, event-driven programming, object-oriented concepts and programming standards
o Incorporation of html, asp, dhtml, nsf, xml, jsp, javascript, java applets, asp, visual basic, CGI, php, scripting database applications, and other programming language into to websites/web applications
o Database integration and administration
o Design, development, and implementation of website features to enhance website functionalities (i.e. integration of content, effective web navigation, etc.)
o Design and layout of complete web pages or sites including the creation of navigational, graphical, and database components
o Integration of E-commerce solutions for online transactional capabilities utilizing various encryption technologies
o Web server maintenance and installation, domain name registration, web statistics configuration, POP / SMTP / FTP
