In my current role, I handle everything from insurance claim follow-ups and appeals to billing-related tasks, making sure that claims are resolved efficiently and accurately. I work closely with payers to reduce aging AR and speed up reimbursements, while also digging into denial trends to help prevent them in the future.
Over the years, I’ve developed a solid understanding of the full revenue cycle—from charge entry and claim submission to denial management and collections. I’ve also worked with various tools and platforms like tools you’ve Epic, Meditech, Availity portal, Cerner athena health.
What I enjoy most is problem-solving—especially when it comes to challenging denials or delays. I like to figure out what went wrong, fix it, and make sure it doesn’t happen again.
