I have a one year experience on a managerial job in a famous restaurant chain here in the Philippines.
I was a fresh college graduate at the time when I applied for this job and I had no idea how to perform my duties.
The company sent me to a two-month training and workshop and other various out-of-town trainings to equip me with the knowledge and skills needed for me to be able my job efficiently.
My job included supervising the store, people, products and do paper works.
I had also done sales analysis reports, store plans and activities submitted to our area manager on a monthly basis.
I also have basic accounting knowledge because I was enrolled first to the course Bachelor of Science in Accountancy before shifting and finishing the course Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
In college, I was always the leader of our group when we have case analysis, presentations and thesis.
From where I came from, the leader almost always do most of the work.
The final editing of our presentations and reports always rests on me.
On our graduation, I received the honor of Best Research Presentation among our batch.
Back when I was in senior high school, I was our school's representative for a inter-school competition in Bookkeeping Using the Electronic Spreadsheet.
I won both in our Division and Regional levels and represented our region in the national level and eventually got 4th place.
I was also a Math quizzer both in my elementary and secondary schools and I represented our school in district, division and regional levels of Math quiz bees.
