Profile Description

I have been working as Cognos Business Intelligence Programmer for 10 years. I manage to work with Cognos 10 and Cognos Analytics version 11.0. I use different Cognos Tools like Framework Manager for metadata modeling to create relationships between objects in the model, setting cardinalities, creating calculations and applying filters and publish packages. I use Report Studio to design and develop multidimensional reports with visualizations, crosstabs, conditional blocks, drill through reports, filters, cascading prompts, data containers and query calculations. Cognos dashboard to build interactive dashboards, Cognos Workspace to assemble interactive workspaces, Cognos Transformer to create cubes. Cognos Analysis Studio for my analysis, comparisons and trends. Manipulating IBM Cognos Connection and Administering Cognos Administration scheduling reports, security permissions and system performance.
I also worked on process maps, I create detailed flowcharts and diagrams outlining system capabilities and processes using MS Visio.
I had experienced conducting hands-on technical training for Cognos users (onboarding and current) on new and existing functions in Business Intelligence and in web related applications.
Currently providing technical support to my Customers, Business Intelligence users whether it be on phone and through emails.
