Profile Description

To begin, my name is Angelica M. Arquero with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management. Throughout my education, I have gathered an extensive understanding of the tourism and hospitality industries. Also, I was an intern in the Front Office Department at Joy~Nostalg Hotel and Suites Manila, a 5-star hotel in Ortigas. In addition, I was a Guest Services Associate and Guest Relations in Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria. This is where I facilitated the check-in and check-out of the guests utilizing the OPERA PMS in which I’m well versed with. In addition, I’m knowledgeable in cashiering and billing of the guests, and the events department. Aside from these duties, I was assigned to Club Lounge wherein I handled VIP arrivals by tagging it in the system and requesting amenities to be set up in their rooms. One of my essential tasks is to block the rooms of the VIPs and ensure that their rooms are well prepared that are tailored to their preferences, by personally inspecting them. I prepare and serve the guests at the Club Lounge with their food and beverage orders. With this, I learned to make mocktails, coffee, and the like. In relation, these first-hand experiences in guest interaction strengthened my customer service skills, leadership skills, and attention to detail to give a personalized experience to the guests. I also update the daily reports needed to monitor the budget in daily operations of our Club guests.
What sets me apart is my communication skills in the English language, in which I can communicate and share my thoughts with other people. I also have a background in basic Chinese Mandarin, as well as the Korean language. With that, I bring strong interpersonal skills to the table.
